He has performed over the years as a singer/pianist in nightclubs, on cruise ships, at private parties and corporate events, and in concert. He has also performed all over Southern California doing shows for civic organizations, retirement communities, and the "Women's Club Circuit" and the "Condo Circuit." As a singer/pianist, Sammy's style can range, depending on the event, from cocktail music to piano bar-style entertaining to a full cabaret/concert show. He tailors his style and music to fit each affair. Although, primarily dedicated to the standards of the 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's (including the Gershwins, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin), and Broadway and off-Broadway musicals, his vast repertoire (over 3,000 songs) also includes contemporary standards, comedy songs, Big Band music, Dixieland jazz, 50's Rock 'n Roll, and the old-time sing-alongs. Sammy is also available to perform his MAC ("Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs") Award-winning stand-up singing show, backed by a musical director/pianist (a bass player is optional).
